The rest of the schedule: WOW

I don't expect any road game in the Big Ten to be easy. I would be shocked if we win on the road by 15+ points at any point this season. Just the nature of the "road beast" that is the Big Ten conference.

Last year we won 3 Big Ten roadies, by an average of 5pts per. The year before, 3 Big Ten road wins by an average of around 4pts per. Going out and expecting us to get our biggest road win in 3 years - easily - may be a bit of a stretch.

That said, I expect us to win. But I expect it to be somewhat ugly.

I'd be frankly surprised if we win a game the rest of the way by 15 points or more, period. We're not a team that blows anybody out.

Our last win by at least 15 points was NDSU when we won 84-65 in the sixth game of the season. And even for the year, our only other 15+ win was WKU in Puerto Rico. We've only had 4 double digit wins in the 12 games since that game, one @ St. Joes, which by the way is our only road win this season.

I have a hard time going with "expecting" a 10-15 point win on the road, even against a struggling, young Michigan squad who clearly performs far better at home than on the road. Are we fully capable? Yes, but history says it probably won't happen. A win of any type here will be just fine in my eyes. But I'd love to see them break out in this one and just put the foot on the throat for once.

15 points is a lot and I'd be happy with a 1 point win. The only reason that I think it could be closer to the 15 is that it seems that since halftime of the OSU game our team and Tubby has shown more of an inclination to pick up the pace which I feel suits us well. We haven't seen the plodding half court offense that ends with chucking up a shot as the shot clock expires in recent games which is just fine by me.

I would expect a 10-15 point win easy....

Hey Artie -

Is that you?

A loss to #1 OSU should be no reason for alarm. The next game(Ill at the Barn) will be a better definition. A loss to Ill at home(coupled with a loss to OSU) would be reason for alarm to set in.

I'm hoping my projection of a loss to OSU is totally wrong.

Go Gophers

NDSU is 12-10 on 3 game win streak and should win 5 of last 6, then 2 in summit tourney for sure to finish 19-13 and get their RPI up for Gophers to have a higher RPI.

Gophs at 26, NDSU at 194 so if NDSU can get up to 140 that would help ya alot.

Gophs need to get to 10-8 correct to LOCK in a bid? or with the big ten tourney, 500 and win 2 games?

Thank you for your info, I was dying to know how NDSU was doing this year.

Actually lakes if you could make a habit of posting a boxscore/recap for each Bison game I think that would be valuable for a lot of the posters around here
