The Portal and the xDSU’s

NDSU gets very few guys out of Iowa. Don't know what the deal is with that ... but has always been true. ND, SD, MN, and Wisc are their bread and butter and have been for a long time. Lot of in-roads with high school programs in those states.
Currently 7 Iowa kids on NDSU's roster. Only 7 MN kids on SDSU's roster but 21 Iowa kids.

Hell, the three biggest misses of all time NDSU who should’ve gone to the U and had the resumes for sure to get offers go all the way back to 2010 when Zach Vraa, Billy Turner and Grant Olson went to NDSU. All three will be in the Hall of Fame there and the putz’ we had playing wide receiver, OL and linebacker during that time compared to those three was ridiculous. Nice job, Brew.

I'm sure I'm probably missing a few impact players that NDSU has gotten from Iowa since, say, starting with Bohl's tenure, and I have not kept up with them nearly as much since Klieman left. Maybe Kli opened up Iowa more than before since he's from there.

Just seems like NDSU has always focused way more on MN and Wisc.

Anyway, there really is no point following NDSU. They don't lose. There's like less than 10 programs left in the division that even have a chance to be competitive with them. They need to move up, like 10 years ago.
