I seriously have lost any positive feelings I had for this team. Five losses in a row will do that. Not just losses, but the way we lost them as well. The defense is just as bad as any Mason teams and the offense is light years worse. I really hope the new recruits can play right away.
 

If there is one bright spot to this game besisdes Pittman's pass, it's Troy Stoudermire. He has looked good on his many kickoff returns......
 

Oh and Eskridge can kiss that starting tailback spot goodbye.

After that last fumble, he will be lucky to even sniff the backfield again next year...
 



Anyone having problems seeing the time on the scoreclock from NFL Network.
 

Wouldn't it be cool to see the Gophers stage an improbable comeback?? I wonder what that feels like......I would have to ask all the fans from the teams that have played the Gophers over the years...........LOL.
 


lets just have stoudamire run one back every time

Even though it's not acceptable to lose the ball in the pile, but....

Eskridge got back on top of the fumble and was down. The Umpire was looking right at it but didn't blow the whistle. The LB ripped the ball from DeLeon after he was already down by contact. We got screwed on that call.

Yeah BB, you are probably right. It might have been a bad call, but when you look at a healthy Bennett, Lipscomb, Whaley, and Shady Saloman, I think Eskridge needs all the help he can get. He needs to do something very special today and I don't know if he will even see the field.....
 

Well, the game may not be over, but they had better get into the end zone this drive!
 

kinda interesting that with last years recruiting class, Stoudemire was one of the players I was least excited about. Right now he is their biggest playmaker!
 

You know what calminn.......at least the team has not quit. They are still working hard and not giving up. Maybe they should try to get Stoudermire some more touches but change the tempo of the game -- maybe if they can score quickly here they can get Kansas to do something stupid and we can get back in the game again....
 

We're decently moving the ball but we're not finishing.......

If they learn how to pass and throw out of both the Power I & Spread we'll be a dangerous Offenses.......

Your right, and actually I do realize the OL and some of the young players simply need some maturing and gelling together, but I was hoping for a better showing today!
 

please stop running the ball Gophers. throw it on every down.
 


Good point, thail. You can tell we just aren't quite there yet, but I think we are closer than a lot of people think.
