It will be interesting to see if OSU is allowed to clutch and grab on the road against a decent team with any clout. Looking at the schedule, that might not be until the Michigan game.

Jim Leonhard's DBs used to do the same and it was usually effective. Another NFLer.

THIS.....watch the replay. The refs seemed to have decided that they weren't going to call holding (on either team) before the game. I've never seen a game where O-lineman were allowed to grab and turn d-lineman like that game. A lot of "pancakes" that were actually the result of wrestling moves. And OSU is good at it......

Some of this is scheme and the offensive philosophy. You don't control the TOP with big plays. The play calling could be interpreted as focused on 5-yard gains vs. home runs.

We played two patsies, and a poor Rutgers defense.
