The Northwestern Game is a Must Win.

Quick change trick play? Please help me with this because NU really doesn't run many trick plays. When we do, they usually fail (see fake FG against PSU). Randy Walker was the trick play artist, and he was always effective with them.

The first interception came when Wisconsin chose to throw the ball from their 15 yard line it was tipped and intercepted. Ball on the 25, Northwestern runs from the shotgun, fake to the back and give to flanker on the jet sweep, he flips the ball to an end on the reverse, TD. Untouched.

Further review of Northwestern in there two losses they got 1 turnover it was inside the opponents 20. They converted on one play a jet sweep throw back to the QB for a TD. Cal had a 31-7 lead in the third quarter, but they are a passing team and too many three and outs. Northern Illinois is a replica of the Gophers. No turnovers, The Huskies threw two TD over the top of the defense, and pounded the rock. Since then they have been plus 9. Penn State can't run the ball, and Wisconsin chose not to. The lesson, don't give them any thing. Protect the ball. Make them go 90.

Let's Kill them all! Go GOphers!

Technically, I believe we could lose to either Ohio State or (god forbid) Illinois and still end up reaching the Big Ten title game. Every team in the West division would have at least one loss (or more in many cases) and we would control the tiebreaker against a one-loss Iowa or Northwestern team.

And I agree with everything said above: one game at a time, let's focus on NW this weekend.
