The bottom 4 seeds would have to win 7 games in 7 days to earn the Sun Belt's NCAA Tournament auto bid.

A lot of people hate it (I don't), but more mid-major leagues should do this. This is what you do if you want to do all you can to protect your top teams. Besides, I'll gladly take more Championship Week hoops!

Whether or not one plans to attend the event in person (perhaps requiring travel/hotel) compared to just watching it on TV would impact my opinion dramatically on hating versus loving (and everything in between) the format.

Speaking as a non-attendee.

As an attendee. ... not so much!

At least every team is in. Bravo for that decision. Seven straight days of live games with some hotel time for tv games is a retired hoops fan’s dream!

6 straight days of a doubleheader followed by Championship Monday.

Probably less taxing than the current Big 10 format of 3-4-4-2-1, from a spectator standpoint.

That’s why I like attending the Summit League Tournament. … 2 games a day (except for title game) and the afternoons free. Time to take a breath without 2 sessions a day.

This seems over the top. I would just give the regular season champion a spot in the title game. Let the rest of them play for the other spot.

Or move top two into Semi-Final like they did, but have the rest play a regular tourney down to the semi-final.
