I'm starting to think Trevor's attorney didn't choose to work in the Public Defender's office for the gritty hands-on experience....

Albert's fall semester grades had no incomplete or fail grades. I consider him back.
What do his fall semester grades have to do with anything? Aren't we talking about this past spring semester re: his ability to get be eligible?

I believe the worse you do fall semester the better you have to do spring semester to make up for it, so if he didn't fail a bunch of classes it makes becoming eligible again more obtainable. Could be wrong though.

If he is innocent and the lawyer messes this up the kids life is going to be ruined.

I wasn't making light of it. I'm just starting to think that the problem is not all the Miami AD's office.

His attorney is not a public defender. That might be the problem. The guy appears to have alot of experience with excessive force cases against police but who knows how much real criminal defense experience he has (despite what his website may say). Trevor may honestly be better off with a PD as they actually know what they are doing with this type of thing as they deal with cases like this day in and day out (not to mention they actually know the judges and district attornies very well). By the way, don't believe anyone who says a private attorney is better than a PD just because you are paying them big bucks and a PD is free. Many PDs can wipe the floor with a private attorney in a trial as many, many private attornies have a fraction of the trial experience of a PD. Just to be clear, I am not an attorney but know several personally and this is what I hear from them (and they are not PDs either).
