You have to have rules, and you have to enforce them everyday. Things were ugly early under Jerry and look what can happen when a large majority of the team is on board. The small roster of B-ball makes it even more important. Give em' hell Rich!! We need 12 guys marching in the same direction. If you wan't off, the path is easy.

Mo Walker's suspension has nothing to do with Rich. He violated university policy, not a team rule. Rich couldn't play him if he wanted to.

But how does the University find out about said violations? Sometimes it takes a coach with integrity to turn in his players. I am sure there are many coaches who might "sweep it under the rug." This may have more to do with Pitino than you think, or less.

Maybe, maybe not. He said something to the effect of "we just made the decision on Mo today" in the post-game presser. If there's a decision to be made, perhaps it wasn't a clear-cut violation.

He also said they need Mo and look forward to having him back for Maui. You have to appreciate the substance here. Pitino setting a firm tone early without being degrading.

Mo has worked hard to be on this team. Hope it is a one time mistake whatever it is. Hope the rest of the team is paying attention. I think they are.

Pitino may not have a world of experience, but it appears to have been great experience and he has paid attention. Feeling good about the future.

I agree completely. I like the similarities between Pitino's disciplinary system and Kill's. Plus, I also liked how Mo especially, and Wally to a lesser extent appeared at the game. Both were into it, were high-fiving their teammates, and showing enthusiasm for the team. I hope they learn from their mistakes and are able to move forward.

I was under the impression that Pitino and the team knew a few days ago that they'd be without Mo, but they made the decision to announce it today.
