The best college basketball Cinderella story you won’t hear about in March (St Thomas Tommies)

imagine an expansion team in pro sports not being allowed to participate in playoffs, this is a stupid conservation

Imagine a league allowing a team in to simply grab the cash when there are already too many teams? The waiting period is meant to discourage schools from a quick money grab and some assurances they have the foundation for the long haul.

I don't have any issue with the delay for teams.

I think the NCAA should really reconsider and allow those that would qualify in individual sports to compete (swimming, wrestling, golf, track/cross country, tennis etc).

so the ncaa isn't making money off them... lol...and then what's so hard about just not giving revenue sharing for 3 years, since they arent making it anyway. let them compete, that's all I'm saying

The Golden Gopher Basketball Forum is where die-hard Gopher basketball fans talk about the program, upcoming games, recruiting, and college basketball.
I still find it weird.

You could make a legitimate case for not having divisions at all for individual sports. If someone is the best in the country at the 100 meters, who cares if they run for USC or Upper Iowa?

I think it would be logical for High School, for individual sports.

The only drawback is the logistics of staging the events, as the Individual competitions usually are usually in conjunction with Team Championships.
