The Barn is a Dump

The sound system and it's use for ads is what kills the atmosphere. After a big play with the crowd into it .. the opposing team takes a TO, many times an ad is played during the timeout. What a deal breaker. Also, the awful sounding audio system consists of MP-3 like compressed digital music that no matter the quality of the amp or speakers is going to sound lifeless and dull. The band should be the only source of music in the arena. Mic and amplify the band. The atmosphere would change drastically for the better by making these two changes...

The only problems I have with the Barn are the amount of old people sitting around me and the incessant droning of the Polish Eagle on the arena's sound system. Remove them and I'm good.

I'll bite, Asshole. Most of those old people have been loyal to the Gophers a hell of a lot longer than you've been around. I would guess they've also given more money to the program than you ever will. I do wish you a long life however. Long enough to be drooling and in diapers.

I'm afraid I have to agree on the need for an upgrade...easier to say than get done though. Love the place, but should invest in accessories.
