And by the end of Half Time the student section looked pretty full too.

Just thought it had to be said. Sorry if someone already said it. No on second thought if they did, good for them! :drink:
 

I thought the stadium looked a little empty...I had always wondered how they tallied official attendance at the game. Now I know it's ticket sales. B/c there were not 52,000 people there.

Student section was fun but by the 4th Quarter, even they were mostly out of it.
 

When would you say was the last time the Gophers had a crowd like that for a game against a team like that? Looked impressive on tv.
 




The Stadium was pretty much full today. A larger crowd than Ohio St. Someone explain this to me.

I understand not having anything good on offense happening but Kent State starting behind their 10 or 15 yard line with us up only by three is worth some noise.

212 has really regressed.

The Billds amped it up in the second half. Students were pretty good the entire game.
 




Agreed Iceland - I thought the crowd was solid today, better than I expected.

It should be even better next week given it is Homecoming.

I'm usually pretty loud generally, but there was zero chance Kent State was gonna move the ball at the end. Or at any point in the game really. I saved my voice.
 

I'd say it was a pretty darn good student section for an 11 AM game against a nobody MAC team, but the away side had tons of empty seats the entire game. Not much better than normal for IMO.
 

The crowd was impressive today. Awesome to see the student section so full against a supposed cream puff.
 




Unfortunately a crap game against a bad team won't bring a lot of repeat customers. What a boring dud of a game.
 

Will be interesting to see what attendance is like next week.

52,823 "tickets distributed" this week according to the box score. With nice weather and a 2:30 PM start next week could potentially be a sellout, even given our enigma of an offense.

We got yelled at in section 103 by some fans for standing up during he 4th quarter when Kent State was going for it on 4th down. Pretty much sums up the day and some of the fans in our section for the game. What a joke.
