Thanks Tyus

Tyus

I'm happy for the kid. If he couldn't win a title with the Gophers I'm glad he won one tonight. Hell of a player, hell of a performance. Ultimately, he made the right decision.

Sleeper agent. He was the hero we needed tonight.

Yes thank you.

Now may I never have to cheer for Kentucky and Duke again. WHEW that was a close one.

You partially redeemed yourself...

Not gonna lie, he won me over. Hope the Bucks draft him.

If he committed to the gophers, wisc probably wins the championship. I feel better about him not coming here now

Big thank you to Tyus and the rest of the Duke team! Tyus was a badger killer both times they played this year.

Not coming here hurt. This was a nice make-up move by Tyus - about the next best thing.

Screw Tyus. If I lived in MN, I'd rent a four wheel drive truck and then drive down to Apple valley and perform a hellacious lawn job in jones's front yard

Grayson and Tyus, almost wish they both would stick around, they are fun to watch together, Tyus is gone though.

Who cares? He chose not to be a gopher, beating Wisconsin does not change that. In fact it makes me dislike him even more for shutting the Big Ten out of a title and he felt he not only was too good for the gophers but also too good for any Big Ten team. I at least could have cheered for him and Jahlil if they brought a title to MSU or OSU.

Jesus, don't go overboard. After we beat them at least once with Tyus, they're not a #1 seed.

Yeah, that would have been awesome - watching him play for MSU, OSU, WI or whoever, and beating the Gophers two or three times (B10 tourney) during the year.

I feel the same way I did when Garnett won a title in Boston- angry.

I am a bitter, not-so-old man, and if he doesn't want to win here I wished he wouldn't win anywhere.

Because he is...! Why waste your talent on a middling program when your that good? A smart decision really paid off for him this season and it all culminated with a championship tonight.

What a payoff for tyus. It has been fun watching him grow this year at duke. Duke will be a force next year too.

He was too good for MSU? They could have very well won the title with him at point instead of Nairn. Or him and Deangelo Russell, could you imagine that backcourt?

He is a cold blooded big stage player. Gophers should offer his brother Tre right now. The poise and shooting ability they both share. The rest we will see. But worth the gamble.

Thank you Tyus!

Wisky fans: Bwaaaaa! Hahahahahahahahaha! Heeheebeeneejeeheeheehahaha!

For all the people still bitter at tyus, remember: a player is only around for five years max. A wisconsin basketball title is forever.

I will admit it is fun to be able to say that you have been following this kid for 6 years now ever since he was an eight grader while so many others have just heard of this kid yesterday. Actually felt he was the #1 player in the country when he dominated the EYBL leading the league in scoring, assists and steals. Still don't like him though.

If you're calling Michigan St. a middling program that is ridiculous.

After his junior year in high school that's what I was thinking, Tubby was still the coach but it was obvious it would be a colossal waist of time for him to go to the U, Travis would have been a different story and my guess is that Vaughn could have benefited being Gopher.
