per Sid:

Teague, who came from Virginia Commonwealth to become Gophers AD in April of 2012, also was asked about the current status of the $190 million fundraising project to try and improve athletic facilities around campus.

“We’re finishing our fundraising feasibility study actually in the next 10 days, and things are looking good,” he said. “We’re always getting some gifts, we haven’t gone public with any of those. But we’ll make some more announcements in the coming months. Things have been very good. I’m excited about the prospects. People are responding and our feasibility study has been very positive.”

Go Gophers!!

How can this be? We have no fundraising plan and no money has been raised. Nothing has been done. Teague's an idiot. There's a 60 post thread on Gopherhole to prove it.

Go Gophers!!

Sounds like a done deal Highwaydude. Should be shovel ready by Monday. LOL

Glad Woody is working on it. Good to hear something. Send a little Highway money that way!

I'm trying to be optimistic about this whole fund raising process as Teague was deemed to be a great fund raiser. So, what I am really hoping is that there is already a fair amount of cash raised and the administration is holding out to announce at a later date to build momentum for the football season. As the season progresses the monies donated continue to be announced and all Gopher fans throw themselves into the frenzie and hop on board with the giving and by the time homecoming arrives there is so much money we actually have a surplus. Then Teague would be riding on a float in the homecoming parade wearing a top hat and smoking a cigar casting out handfuls of hundred dollar bills to all in attendance!

Maybe just tell us where you are at... we can handle the truth! Talk about whittled down, Woody.
(We need Schnauzer with the "bottom line")

Go Gophers!

Shouldn't all the BTN money give us a head start on this? Or is it all being spent on the women's rowing team?

Your characterization of that thread is BS. It was a thread about ideas of how to build a grass roots effort, which after more than a year hasn't been announced & hasn't even been mentioned by Teague (Including in this interview).

So you can be a baby because people disagree with you and think that the lack of effort to date, failures of previous leadership and the overall under performance of our alumni when it comes to giving compared to other B1G programs is an area for concern and worthy of discussion and past results prove that your "give if you want to, we don't need a program, plan or any effort to give philosophy" might not work.
