seems like the team can do nothing right for MPLS.. so I do wonder why this person even cheers for the the team..It's a game, Mpls. Get a grip.
Why is it OK to criticize the poor play of a college football player or men's basketball player, but you're a horrible person if you criticize the poor play of a college volleyball player? This is a whole heck of a lot more fun when you realize these are 18-22 year olds - non professional athletes.
Nebraska bound is what I'm hearingIt tough to believe anything you read anymore. So, take this for what its worth...
Robinson is already coming back and it looks like Franklin will be too. Plus with their incoming class, it just wasn't in the stars. It tough to believe anything you read anymore. So, take this for what its worth...
Didn't stop Texas!Robinson is already coming back and it looks like Franklin will be too. Plus with their incoming class, it just wasn't in the stars.
Yup. C-ya later. Now that landfair has landed at Nebraska we can close all discussions about TL.
It’s about fan loyalty to a program. Just like the pros. We are being scammed. We are in an unregulated system where excellent players like Wenaas, Booth, and Landfair can choose to go to a team that has a high probability of winning a conference and national championship. In some pro sports, on the other hand, high-quality free agents cannot always go to the best team(s) because they don't have enough salary cap space. The NCAA needs to reign in the transfer portal system or lose the over-all quality of sports and interest of fans.
They also need to have limits on NIL money. We are in an unregulated system where excellent players like Wenaas, Booth, and Landfair can choose to go to a team that has a high probability of winning a conference and national championship. I vote the latter.Either she's gonna make John Cook look like a genius or be his biggest headache.
Taylor Landfair announced Monday she is transferring to Nebraska. She joins a team that lost one regular-season match last season and was the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament before being surprisingly swept by Texas in the national championship.
IMO this is A typical of JCook. He always talks out of "both sides of his mouth".Already made him look like the biggest hypocrite in the sport. In case it was in doubt. Who leaves? Batenhorst? Krause? Both?

US federal law won’t support it. New law would be struck down by current SCOTUS. A “free market” thing, yada yada. They also need to have limits on NIL money.
Are Neb and Texas any better??Better Nebraska than Wisconsin even if it is in conference. Tired of Sheffield and his All Star transfer squads.
It would be so delicious if she gets benched.Right now there are no guarantees that TL will start for them next season and certainly no guarantees that she will remain a starter, if she did. That is the reality of Nebraska volleyball. Just look at Sun and Orr while in his program.....just saying!
Just remember reading something about her having a clothing line. I have absolutely no idea where she is at with it and if it continues to exist or not....The Sunny Crew.Whatever happened to Lexi? Is she playing pro? Beach?

He’s been around the sport for almost 20 years as his daughter, Lexi, used to play volleyball for the University of Nebraska. After spending so much time around some of the best volleyball players in the country, he said he knows its athletes want to play a part in driving popularity forward.
“Volleyball has such a different culture than any other sport. I think players want to not only play the game but also represent it too,” he said. “We need to keep building a brand that athletes can wear on and off the court. We’re trying to build a lifestyle of products and apparel that they’ll be able to wear.”
Lexi Sun, the former All-American outside hitter for the Cornhuskers, is now a sales executive for REN Athletics. She said she’s helping to shape how the company appeals to players’ fashion tastes off the court.
This I don't really understand. She said she wanted a "more competitive gym" yet she literally gave little to no effort all season while everyone else was hustling to do their job. You would think she would step up in the situations where they are down and do her best to carry the team and lead by example. She in fact did the opposite and seemed to do as little as possible and just go through the motions. Incredibly frustrating as a fan to watch what we watched all season and then have her say, oh I wanted a more competitive team. Then STEP UP and do more for your team ala Skinner rather than skip out for a natty team. I just don't get it.On a personal level I hope she has a happy successful life. Regarding her and playing for Nebraska, I hope she and Nebraska fail miserably. The system is broke. "I can't help my current team so I'll transfer to a national championship team". B.S.
Agree. We lost some sets...and matches, because of her. This I don't really understand.
