Apparently Cam Newton auctioned himself off to the highest bidder. Interesting timing on MSU's part to rat out Auburn, although snitching on your rivals is a time-honored SEC tradition.

I wonder if it has something to do with Mullen knowing he's a hot commodity, and he wants to come off as pure as freshly fallen snow when someone (like us) does their vetting. Which is a tough trick to pull off in the SEC.

Crappy deal. I've seen a few interviews with Newton, and he seems like a very likable guy. When you see him on the sidelines, he looks like he really enjoys the game. It's the Pollyanna in me that still believes in the kid that is playing for the love of the game, and anything after that is gravy. Reality check, done.

Auburn knew what there were getting with this guy.

Same guy that was arrested on felony charges for stealing laptops.

"But he sure is fast"

Why the he'll aren't we buying better players?

DH, I'm pretty sure the charge was for buying stolen property. Still no peach, but not nearly the same as swiping it himself.

I like how you can take an unsubstantiated rumor from questionable sources and say "apparently".

Yeah that's a done deal. Close the book on this one.

Ida implies Idaho. That's probably fine dining up Boise way.
