Sad to see this news, per Sporting News:

Tarvaris Jackson, a quarterback who split time between the Vikings, Bills and Seahawks in his NFL career died on Sunday. He was 36.

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Jackson was killed in a car accident in his home state of Alabama.

After a strong senior season at Alabama State, Jackson was a second-round pick of the Vikings in 2006 — he was eyed by then-Vikings coach Brad Childress throughout the pre-draft process. After five seasons of injuries and mostly down success with the Vikings, Jackson was traded to the Bills for a conditional seventh-round pick.

Skol T-Jack!!

Holy shit. That's terrible. I was at what was one of his best games as a pro when he went into Univ of PHX stadium and tore up the Cardinals for 4 TD's through the air. Pulled up his career stats and was surprised to see he played a lot longer than I remembered. RIP Mr. Jackson
