Tanner Morgan

Actually it said he will play. But tremendous news!!

They mentioned it on Gameday about a half an hour ago or so, too.

ROW THE DAMN BOAT!
Great to see our Captain Morgan is healthy!

Just protect him big guys. I want him at top form when the bad-gers come to town.

Likely a heavy dose of the running game mixed with short, quick passes until the Wildcats show they can stop it.

TM, not sharp...he better tune up for the 2nd half if we want to pull this one out with style points.

just getting out of a “concussion protocol” he should not be running with his head first. SLIDE!

Those intentional grounding and INT are not acceptable.

Even if we win but if we only win below the spread, it’ll hurt our image in the Committee’s eyes.

If we end up winning out it won't matter if we only beat NW by even 1 point. We will be in.

Disagree w ‘not sharp’ like others.

However, I do not think I saw him turn his head for a progression once this game. He stares down his number one target the whole game, even after a scramble.

Obviously worked against Penn St. Tough to not get over anxious for the last 2 opponents.
Really wished he wouldn’t stare down just one WR per play.

There is some hawkeye fan on Twitter (cannot find it now) that is convinced that Fleck told Morgan to stay down and feign injury. Now that he played well today is really convinced.

It is so sad when people think that way in the face of film saying otherwise.

This wasn’t a d lineman going down 4.5 seconds after the play is over.

This didn’t age well.

There’s so many things dumb about that theory. If he was faking, why not come back in after one play? Secondly, you could argue that Kramer coming in even with the clock stopped was better for Iowa than Morgan not coming out but the clock still running. At best it’s a wash. And finally, if you’re going to fake an injury, why the hell would you do it with your starting QB?
