Summer Splash - Making recruiting waves

How many commits you think we’ll get tomorrow?

I hoping for 5 more with 1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐️ RB and 4 ⭐⭐⭐️s

I don't think the weather this weekend is going to do much to impress the recruits especially the Texas players.❄️
Weather might put a little bit of a damper of some of the festivities but I highly doubt the weather during a summer recruiting visit is likely to have a major impact on any recruits decision. Now a middle of the winter blizzard might scare some guys off....but a little bit of rain and temps in the 70s isn't going to be a factor.

I am sure the staff has plans in place for whatever weather conditions they run into.

I know a few transplants from warm climates and they didn't mind getting away from the excessive heat. Not everyone loves it.

Disagree.

...And I think Estrada would be a HUGE acquisition. He'd fit perfectly and is everything Mo and Darius were/are, but more explosive. (Not sure he's the pass receiver that Darius is, but not sure he's not, either.)
But yet you didn’t start a thread where you personally welcomed this weekend’s visitors. Could that hurt us?

Hope so, but I wonder if the murders might cause some recruits to hold off committing.
Had the targets been college athletes then maybe but not sure how a politically motivated nut job targeting lawmakers would have any real impact on a decision about where to play football during your college career.

Bad stuff happens everywhere....

Adding a lot of college ready size to the OL room. Probably won't see any of these guys for a couple of years because it takes time for lineman to develop but like seeing guys walking in the door with great size already as opposed to guys who will need multiple years just to get big enough to compete at the college level.

It should be interesting in the next few hours to see if they can get a commit from one of the two TX RBs (Estrada & Rowden). I think they would prefer Estrada, but I'm sure they want to come out of the weekend with at least one of the two.
Then, I'm sure Harbaugh & Fleck will be working the phones to see if they can have a conversation with Roman Voss as he wraps up his visit at Bama. Like most staffs, I'm sure Bama's trying to get that commit before he leaves and gets back in front of Fleck and has more time to weigh things when he's at home.

It would be good to finish up with Voss, Petersohn, Estrada or Rowden and another db.

Well, got our four 3⭐️s like I projected but missing that one 4⭐️!
