Sullinger

I watched most of this game last night and thought Sullinger was very impressive; however, IUPUI was undersized and unimpressive on defense. They would constantly let Sullinger go one-on-one in the post, and their only physical big man (Christian Siakam, 6'7" 245) fouled out with 10 minutes to go in the game. Once Siakam was out, Sullinger basically had uncontested lay-ups for the rest of the game and ended up scoring 20 of his 40 points in the last 10 minutes.

It will be very interesting to see how the Gophers match up against Sullinger. If Mo Walker can get in better shape, I could see him being a player similar to Sullinger in the future.

Settle down on Mo.

dboy is right - Sullinger is so bad, he shouldn't even think about doing anything other than playing a full four years of college basketball. :D

That's assuming that they don't just pull his scholarship.

There are a lot of dumbasses on GopherHole, but you really take the cake. I mean, wow. Congratulations on your epic as-heretofore-unreached levels of dumbassery.

dpo,

A tip of the hat for use of dumbassery.

:clap::clap::clap:

dboy is back, forgetting to take his meds, and getting into this argue about everything mode. He is Bi-Polar to the max. Not a fun illness, so I feel sorry for dboy.

Doc

Please explain Bi-Polar from a proctologist point of view.

Yeah, I heard they only offered him because his dad was a good coach and they wanted to get a hook to lure his dad onto the coaching staff. Once his dad gets on the staff, then he would be a university employee and there's no tuition for university employees' children, so Sullinger's basketball scholarship is definitely in jeopardy ;)

I heard it was only a pity scholly - if J.J. hadn't gone to OSU we'd probably be seeing Jared down in Athens, and I don't mean Georgia. Let's face it - no coach in the country wanted Jared.

I will try... dboy chokes trying to give himself a bj while his head is up his arse. That is the best I can do to explain it.

Did anyone else here one of the announcers during the Eastern Kentucky game today say that Sullinger has a lot of junk in his trunk?

After seeing Sullinger for the first significant amount of time last night, I'm already anxious to see how our big guys play against him. Our bigs (Colton, RSIII & Mo, specifically) will need to have their lunch pails when we play OSU. He is a beast. Perhaps our depth in the post can wear him down some, I hope? Lauderdale didn't even get off the bench in the second half last night, and for good reason.

Can you imagine if Sullinger had Evan Turner feeding him down low this season?

Good thing for the rest of the Big 10 that Turner decided not to use his final year of elegibility...and took his show on to the League instead...

had to bump this.
dpod? hello?
selection? showin? dr don? josh? jake? h e l l o????

the anointed one went for 11/2.... chumps

i say 11/2... the stats say 11/3... but i have to deduct this 'bunny' per our rules:

9:36 8-18 Jared Sullinger missed Two Point Layup.
9:36 8-18 Jared Sullinger Offensive Rebound. <<<< 'bunny' rebound own missed layup.
9:34 8-20 Jared Sullinger made Two Point Tip Shot.

and the prior game, since we last talked, was a 17/5 ( stats not yet un-bunnied by me ).

26/15 for the season?? Don, get back to your drunken stupor.

Why don't you read up on what I wrote friend. I never said a single thing about any of his stats, nor did I predict a single thing about what he would/would not average.

You really are an interesting chap.

I never said anything about what he would average either, so not sure why I'm being called out.

But I do like the term "un-bunnied." Even though the premise behind it, um, sucks. I mean, a rebound of your own miss - an offensive board - is a "bunny?" Every time? I think to get an accurate "bunny" count, one must watch every rebound. Maybe you should form a committee, dboy! Then you all can gather in your mommy's basement and count "bunnies" together and report back to us. (I'm out, by the way. I don't think I could stand the smell.)
