STrib: Melvin Newbern sues Robbinsdale cop over force during arrest

I lean (heavily) to the right from a fiscal perspective but tend to be Libertarian on social issues. If Melvin was calm, stated that he couldn't bend down enough to get in the car and got knocked to the ground and concussed as a result, then I think that he should be paid. There is a big difference between someone who is resisting arrest and someone who is protesting for legitimate reasons (assuming the facts presented are correct)
