STrib: Mark Coyle arrives to a full agenda as Gophers AD tenure begins

Some things that should be on Mark's list of must fix:

Accountability
Complacency
Indifference
Conflict Of Interest
Non-Disclosure of Confidential Information

This applies to everyone. They should be part of their contracts.

Literally, the whole culture at the U must be changed. Until people start losing jobs, no one is going to take any new AD seriously.

Plug the leaks. Stop the feeding frenzy to the local negative media types with story lines before all the facts are laid out. Fire people who regularly leak confidential information prematurely.

It looks like Jim Carter has Mark Coyle's ears. Someone who actually listens.

I think that becomes a moot point if the first five items are addressed. Until they are, frankly this stuff should be brought to the media. It brings the attention that's needed.

Regardless, I don't blame the leaker. Blame the people who are doing the wrong thing or the people who created a culture that wouldn't allow them to report issues and have them addressed.

So we can assume leaks to Mr Carter will be fine, otherwise, how will he know what is best for the Athletic Department.

It is hard to find a topic that does not include a paranoid sentence or two about reporters who seem to have only one goal in life and that is to without cause or facts defame the Gophers.

In GH true form, we're all paranoid. What will we do if we don't have Reusse or Soupcan?
