Sorry if all of these have been posted, I didn't see them anywhere. It's crazy and kind of sickening what is starting to take place out there recruiting wise.

This type of stuff isn't new. There have always been guys out there "helping" recruit players. Sometimes they're a member of the family and other times they're people from a particular neighborhood.

I understand there have always been leaches out there "helping" but the fact these leaches are now getting paid to "help" concerns me.

The problem is that this is a scouting service doing recruiting. There is no reason for scouts to be on a first name basis with either the player or their family. Going beyond on field performance and cursory background checks is the job of the coaches, not a scouting service. Once a scouting even mentions a school to a player, parent or coach, they have entered the realm of recruiting.
