This offense is exactly the type of offense the U needs to run to give them the best chance to
succeed. Many Gopher fans have long realized this, and now more have caught on. We cannot
run a razzle-dazzle, fancy offensive scheme at the U and make the most of the local
talent and climate.

We bring in big 'ol boys up front- I mean BIG. You have them plow straight ahead. Not just
4 yards and a cloud of dust....more like 8 yards and a pile of humanity. You have some
tough backs who will hit the line hard, and have some receivers who can block. You run
until they stop you. Nagurski, Joesting, Kitzmann....this is the type of offense they would understand.

In November, when it starts getting chilly, the Gopher offense just plows on. When it snows,
they're like a giant snowplow. The only problem our defense will have is staying warm on the
sidelines. When it rains, they just plow through. Its the perfect all-weather offense.

And we win games 24-10 every week into eternity........

Now THAT'S the kind of monotony one can love!

I think with the BIG offensive line we need to be a run oriented team. I still think we need to be a team that can be a good passing team also. All our talent is at receiver and we need to figure at a way to get them involved in the offense.
