Gabe Stevensen NCAA Wrestling Champion, Lined up at Defensive End, Not exactly a ton of experience or technical ability at rushing the passer, certainly a large amount of raw physical ability and strength.

vs.

Daniel Faalele 6'8" 390' Man, Still a football neophyte by all practical standards he has only played organized football for a hand full of years, A pillar of strength and a massive force of nature who is just starting to get his feet under him with his techniques and ability to gain leverage and position to use his hugeness to his advantage and protect his quarterback.

Who wins?

Not to punt on it but would really depend on what the competition was and what constituted a win. If we are talking off the line of scrimmage and getting to the QB 1 on 1, I would give Stevenson a great chance of winning because of his quickness. In a narrow chute where the defender has to engage then get off and make the tackle Faalele would have a big advantage with his size.

Steveson is actually the correct spelling. Gable would have a tough time until he got some technique.

I was thinking rushing the quarterback! Not a steel cage match bout! Lol

I mean eventually Gable would get by Dan. But elite edge rushers win and get to the QB like...5-10% of the time? Chase Young was blocked. This makes no sense. One rep, 1 on 1, Dan wins. Gable never played football and would be giving up 150lbs.

With no other traffic to contend with though the odds of the d-lineman winning goes way way up because they can use their quickness to their advantage more.

Well if were making up scenarios where there is no one else on the field besides two lineman...what is the end goal? Eventually the DE will get around the OL. What if the QB is Michael Vick and Gable can't catch him. Who wins?

Who wins in what?

Olympic or collegiate style wrestling, would be Steveson no question (regardless that Faalele is massively over the weight limit). Faalele would get so tired, so fast, he would be a sweaty pile on the mat after about 2-3 minutes of Steveson making him work. It's no offense to Faalele, it's just an incredibly hard thing to do.

Sumo wrestling, Faalele would win. Sheer size and power would let him bulldoze Steveson out of the ring. Probably similar results in football, in a "board drill".

If it were a pass-rushing drill in football, it wouldn't exactly be a "fair" fight, as Steveson would clearly be an interior DL while Faalele is used to going against speedy rush ends. On speed moves alone, rushing to the outside, I think Faalele would slap his big mits on him and that would be that. On an interior style pass rush, with bull-rushing and interior moves, not so sure.
