Looks like Rice is that quintessential guy who can recruit like hell (or at least align himself with handlers of 5* players) but can't actually coach all that well considering the talent he has.
 

You'd think with their mediocre conference UNLV would roll everyone with their talent
 

His recruiting "almost" sounds too good to be true. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - would make me proud to live in a city that promotes itself as THE place of illcit behavior.
 

So UNLV not only has Findlay in their backyard but Bishop Gorman too. Good deal for them.
 


I saw a tweet (can't find it now) that said Zimmerman's high school coach is Rice's brother.
 


Yea they're doing some borderline stuff but I personally don't care. Kids want to go be the man in Vegas for a year before hitting the pros and more power to them.

At the time of Vaughn's commitment, I joked with one of the family about giving Vaughn an envelope full of cash; he said " Shhhhhh. Envelope wasn't big enough". I know he was joking, just how much I don't know.
