Al Nolen was talking in the post game about his own season-ending foot injury and how he could tell from how Willis was walking after that game that it was bad.

Even on what could have been Tubby's best team, he had only 2 people who could or should play PG. I think that's bad planning. Just like only recruiting 2 people who can play the 5. It seems like SG, SF, and PF have much more flexibility in today's game, I would never shortchange PG and Center.

I think they said last night he was out with a "shin."

He missed summer workouts due to a stress fracture in his shin. It seems that it acted up as soon as he started playing on it again this fall.

Not ideal, as I counted on him to be the "X factor. I don't expect he'll be back, although that is pure speculation on my part. Hope I'm wrong.

Agree 100% about the PG position.

Always should have 3 guys on the roster that are at least serviceable. Look at Michigan State. They have arguably the second best PG in the Big Ten (Fears), but by the looks of it they have two decent ones behind him, Ugochukwu and the walk-on Wojcik. Neither are Fears, but they are solid in the minutes they get.

To be fair to tubby his original plan had four. Cobbs transferred Mav was a freshman
