I already like Joe more than Westbrook. Seems more collected and even keeled (in a good way); mature for his age. Don't forget how many charges were called on Westbrook as a freshman; he was out of controll a lot and didn't play much under Monson/Molinari as a result. Coleman seems like he has good vision. I also believe he will start for the rest of his career as MN!

What took Tubby so long to give him more than 5 mins a game?

Coleman looked at least a step behind in non-conference play. I think he started to feel comfortable to be at this level about 10 or 12 games in. Tubby would have been a fool to start Joe Coleman any earlier than he did. I was at the Penn St. game and not only did he stifle any beginnings of a Penn St. momentum shift, he was the only Gopher to create his own shot. Any kind of consistency from him and this team will be competitive.
