How long is a football play on average?People who can't stand for long periods of time or get up and down repeatedly certainly can get to a game.

Who said they need to do it over 100 times/game?For an older person it's not realistic to stand up and sit back down over 100 times per game.
You would think this would be common sense to everyone by now but some of the previous posters obviously don't care if someone is older and can't stand the whole time. Just look behind you before the game starts and notice who exactly is there. That is a bit disrespectful sir. There are people who have dedicated much to be there and been there much longer than you. Standing, siting, do what you want but don't be a crab about it. It is not all about you. Some of our older fans cannot stand all the time and would love to if they could. You will be there too at some point. Maybe be mindful and let them catch a big play or two.

The nail that sticks out gets hammered down eh?Kind of like traffic, ok to go with the flow. If you’re the only one sitting or standing then you’re the jackass. If you’re disabled TMK there is plenty of accessible seating available. Most elderly people have no issue sitting down or standing up, it’s getting going and keeping their balance. In fact, it’s generally always a good thing for these folks to get the blood moving even if they don’t feel like it.
That said, standing for big downs/plays always acceptable, the rest of the time in between plays etc should be acceptable to sit...use common sense.
