MVC and MVFC are separate entities. MVFC and Summit share a commissioner. St Thomas is moving its hockey team to NCHC which includea fellow Summit members Denver and Omaha but I doubt that prevents a move. The xDSUs would no doubt covet an invite (alright SDSU would lose the phenomenol "home" court advantage in the Summit Tourney. But the MVC's recent record of expansion suggests that large markets trump larger public, established and/or competitive schools. In that regard, St Thomas, Denver, ORU and Omaha could all be legitimate targets.
