0-6 to 15-10. Wucherer has been perfect from the service line.

Tech timeout. Still no UST timeouts.
 

Big advantage in serving.

She started off slow, offensively, but Wucherer is having a monster match. Best player on the floor. Especially with Gilk out for most of g2.
 

Curious as to how many serves UST missed. A bunch.

Wucherer missed one bu my count.

LiveStats never worked.

UST won last set with Gophers running a 6-2 and Garr not playing.

Hoecke had a couple of big kills but not much doing in the middle. Connection off all night.
 

Looked like a bunch of backups in that last set, 2-2 split with St. Thomas make with it what you will.
 


Thoughts from the Pav.

The first set was dissapointing. The Gophers looked disinterested. After falling in a 0-6 hole in set 2 they turned it on and dominated the Tommies through the end of the set and all of set 3. Set 4 was ragged again as Cook played everyone.

A few individual observations. Wucherer looks healthy. She's moving well and hitting hard. Her serve receive is still aweful. Kinney and Gilk were mostly solid as you'd expect. McKenna Crosson hits hard but looks like she needs more time to be ready to play at a high level.

HOEKE BRINGS SOME SERIOUS JUICE. She looks like a solid Big Ten middle already. Madi Kraft didn't play a lot but looked OK. Olivia Swenson did a nice job as a serve specialist.

A run by Blanket Lady run was a nice surprise. Thanks Peps.
