Spring Game April 24 at TCF Bank

According to Sid in today's column.

That means the game is actually May 1 at Augsburg Stadium. The Gophers will play the Arena1 All-Stars, coached by Mike Hohensee--his first outdoor experience since playing in the USFL in 1984. That should be enough experience for him to be named Gopher OC in 2011.

Kidding aside, I'm already getting fired up...

Spring game...

I think last year's spring game required a voucher or something like that. Or maybe it was just overall free to begin with.
Anyone else know??

The spring game has always been free in the past. Even though this will be the 1st one at TCF, I would expect it to remain free.

Voucher was for the scrimmage in August. Since no season tickets will be out, I am assuming it will be open to anyone and will be free or minimal fee.

You can count on the game being free. Last year, when they played at St. Thomas, it was free. If they're comfortable with demand to the point where they won't charge to fill a stadium a fraction of the size of TCF, I'm confident they'll swing the gates open in April and let anyone attend who's interested.
