Sports Huddle Summary: Jerry Kill - 1/29/12

I still don't get the Wildcat talk. Do you bring in a different "running QB" when your starter is already the best running QB on the team?

Foreman is not switching positions.

You bring in a different QB when it's almost a certainty that your QB is going to take a pounding by running the ball on those plays and you want to relieve him of the stress of those hits and have a better chance of keeping him in the game.

It's not even a real Wildcat, you just bring in a QB who is a good runner for plays where it's an obvious running down. Jerry Kill did it with Harnish and a guy named Jordan Lynch. Harnish is obviously an accomplished runner, but they still used Lynch to take some hits away from Harnish.

I think Foreman stays at QB, at least for the forseeable future. No one else on the roster is really a running QB (besides Gray).

Fastest Gophers according to #5: "'m the fastest lol jk i think its cooper stoudmaire Sebastian (new juco player) marcus jones lamonte edwards <---- no order

In regard to the wildcat... As long as its not Shortell (or any other non-speed QB) sliding out to WR. I absolutely hate that. You are basically playing a man down for that play as they will never throw to him or use him for any "decent" blocking.
