Splash commits

We still need 1 RB, 2 TE, 1 or 2 DL, 1 LB, 3 DB and possibly 1 more OL. Is there still a 25 limit?

It worries me that Voss/Petersohn both made MN the first visit. Also where are the iDL bodies?

Insane additions at DL, OL, and LB though! Was hoping for a few more to pop but I think when you go after bigger fish you don’t get those insta commits as often. Hopefully their work continues to pay dividends the next couple weeks!

Possibly the first Top 25 class since Chilli Man’s Gray Class.

Amazingly 12 of the 15 recruits are Top 💯at their position!!

A Class with CLASS!!!
I don’t know how long being in the top 25 will last, but we do have a shot at it, maybe top 30.

What is amazing are the number of top position 100 recruits we have committed. I think the top 4 3* all have a chance at being 4*s before December.

This could be our best overall class in the modern era.

I think we get at least one of Voss/Petersohn. It’s better to be the first or the last visit. I hope Freddie Wilson commits at DT. He was very happy with his visit. There are two other DT visits.

Looks like Splash week 1 was a success as usual. Hopefully get similar results in a couple weeks at the next one. And who knows, maybe some of the guys who haven't jumped on board yet from this weekend will do so in the near future as well.

Wonder how big of a high school class they are targeting? Tough to know for sure how many spots are available with the waffling going on with the 105 rule.

The biggest thing about being ranked #18 this time is that normally we are ranked in this spot having 20 commits and everyone else has only 8 commits. Now we are surrounded by programs with the same number of commits and a lot of the big schools have classes that are similar in size. I know we will fall back, but I don't think the fall will be like in the past. There is a good change with 15 recruits with an average of 87.7 that this class will stay around 20, especially if we get a few more 4 stars that are high 4's.

Would assume Voss has always been planning on taking his bama visit and deciding. When you cut it to two as early as he did, you’re going to see both out

Yeah, never really been a fan of team rankings anyway but you are correct that this current ranking is probably more sustainable then it has been in previous years.

In glancing at teams rankings was really surprised to see USC in the top spot with 27 commits already. Nobody else in the current top 50 has even topped 20 commits.

I noticed that too. 27 is crazy this early on.

We’ll be Top 10 before PJ is done!!!!

So does this mean we have 4 top 50 OT's committed for the 2026 class??? WOW
247Sports has his OT rank as 44, but the composite is 54th, so at least one of the services has him ranked below 50. He has an excellent chance of moving up.

Never put a ton of stock in OL rankings because so much development happens after the guys get on campus and it take a few years for guys to be ready to play in most cases.....but damn that is some impressive size for high school lineman. None look fat and to be 300lbs already improves the odds of them making an earlier impact.
