Speculation about the Wolves new CEO via Parker Fox

No, you didn’t, stop digging.

Seattle moved after Vancouver was already gone. Btw Vancouver is also also 3 hrs from Seattle; But of course was harder to do, since one needed to travel accross international boundries.

Do you know what is 3 hours drive from Dallas? If you said Houston, you’d be correct. If you said OKC, you’d be correct….

And now you equivocate with 40 miles. Christ man, drive it….. you won’t care about that 40 miles when it takes you 3 hours to do both.

Now continuing, how long does it take to drive from houston to San Antonio - survey says - 2 hours, 53 mins. That’s kind of like 3 hours. Now how about to Dallas, from San Antonio? About 4 hours.

Just amend your argument instead of pretending you didn’t make It. It’s stupid, immature behavior, and beneath your intelligence. It doesn’t have to be exact. Make it probabilistic Like @jamiche was doing. He’s worried, because he loves the Wolves. Notice his love was just as stron, despite them being the big 4’s worst all time franchise by winning percentage during that time frame. That is real love.

There is a risk. There is precedent. There is more precedent if ya look. You can say the NBA won’t, but they did.

Its a low risk right now. And I agree with your general position. That does not mean there is no risk.

Yes I did, look at my post. 'Between Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland that's 3 NBA teams over a span of ~300 miles.' You are right about Vancouver being gone prior to Seattle. Those 3 hour drives are all traffic dependent too. If you want to scoff at 40 miles then fine, Dallas to Houston is still nearly 100 miles farther than Vancouver to Seattle.

But that whole argument isn't the main point. OKC and Memphis made sense to move teams to at the time. Seattle and Las Vegas getting expansion teams makes sense. Moving the Wolves to any of these other cities doesn't make any sense.

You can save the whole jamiche is worried because he loves the Wolves. He's been a proven liar on this board for years. You think I want the Wolves to move? Absolutely not, but I'm also not going to invent some fake boogyman to be upset about the new owners, which jamiche has been doing since they day they were announced in 2021. Hated the new owners, hated hiring Connelly, hated the Rudy trade, hated the KAT trade, and on and on. Some 'love' from a 'fan'.

I now believe the following because weathervain has led me to the light:

1. Dilly is as big as Ant (non believers would say he's not);
2. Tim Connelly has never made a bad trade or draft pick (non believers would say he has);
3. Lore/Arod led the wolves to two WCF's (non believers would say they were quite marginal except for excellent post victory hugs);
4. The NBA won't leave the 15th largest market (non believers would say that it has happened before):
5. The wolves have no place to go (non believers would say gee, gosh, golly there could be options);
6. Lore/ARod are completely trustworthy (non believers would call us idiots for believing that);
7. The KAT trade was fantastic! (non believers would say look at the before and after records. They might also wonder why Connelly didn't wait until the trade deadline, which was the real second apron deadline);
8. Lore/ARod will never leverage us against other markets to get public funding for a new arena (non believers would belly laugh at that);
9. Taylor was a lousy owner (non believers would say he gets some credit for keeping the team here).

Life is simple in a cult.
