South Carolina fires Darrin Horn; Gamecock fans debate going after Tubby

He said it well before Tubby was here. It may have even been when Haskins was still coaching.

I wasn't slighting you in anyway. I along with you think that Flip would rather coach here than any other place. I just have never heard him be anything but coy and elusive when talking about the job.

You have issues. Name one thing I've ever just 'made up' on this board. I'll be waiting, not holding my breath though.

your user name. CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH INTOOOOOOO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

As soon as you fulfill my request and back up the quote below with links, I will dig through your posts to find crap you've made up out of thin air. Oh, heck...I'll start with the statement I'm quoting below as something you've made up.

Flip has said many times this is his dream job.

Every time you post that recruiting rankings are "meaningless" and that the talent evaluators are "clueless", you're making stuff up and ignoring facts.

Tweets from Seth Davis:

"I'm hearing that South Carolina has potential interest in hiring Harvard coach Tommy Amaker to fill it's coaching vacancy."

"Sounds like the South Carolina AD is reluctant to take a run at Wichita State's Gregg Marshall but is facing a lot of pressure to do so."

Go Gophers!!

What do you have to back this statement up with? Flip has never been a head coach at the college level before. Who knows, maybe he would be in way over his head.

I'm not saying that will happen, or that we shouldn't consider him if Tubby leaves/gets fired, but its hardly a certainty that he will be successful.

Way over his head? This guy has coached in the NBA. He is not over his head at all. The guy played for a great coach. He is one of us. He ought to have a chance at the job if the opportunity comes forward. Now, if we can get Bickerstaff to join him...
