Also, Wingo, McNeal, Carter and Sheldon Richardson just committed. Also, Lane Kiffin to be next head coach.

Wasn't Brewster supposed to announce his pick LAST Monday? Sorry, slow board today.


Edit: I see DiehardGopher had the same idea 2 minutes ago. Hats off.
 


looks like Kiffen might have been a pretty damn good choice considering the coaches he is surrounding himself with. Deep pockets.

I had not heard but is his dad taking a salary at all. I didn't see a salary figure for him.

hmm...maybe not? They out paid us for Chaney the OC and I'm positive Ogeron is getting a boatload to go from the Saints to recruiting coordinator and so on at every position is a coach from the NFL

I was just curious because I know Monte was the highest paid assistant in the NFL for quite a few years(2 million/year) and hadn't seen a number so figured he may just be doing it to coach with his son and see the grandkids and to free up money for Lane to get the best assistants possible. I did see a rumor that we would get up to $1 million there but never saw it confirmed but did see that Lane has 2.5 million to work with for assistant salaries alone. Either way Monte should have more than enough money in the bank. Lane would have been great here with his recruiting background and you also would have gotten a package deal with his dad.
 

Lane is getting 2mil a year, Monte 1 mil a year and Odgeron(sp) is getting 600,000. That is alot for only 3 coaches. Tenn is backing up the truck to get these guys. Also, pretty much every coach they have hired outside Monte was the recruiting coordinator at his previous school.

Lets see here. I do have a girlfriend, I have pretty sweet part time job while I'm going to grad school here at the U. Anything else that I need to be a part of the real world? It just gets old listening to d-bags like you that just make up sh!t and try to pass it off as legit. You admittedly come here just to piss people off instead of talk gopher sports. Well he IS white, there's that's I guess? I know I've been wanting the Vikes to get rid of fellow whitey Jared Allen all season. Anyhow Larry, lemme know when Onwauchi becomes first team All-Big 10.

He never has been a coordinator before so he may want to be able to add that to his resume.
