One of my first tailgates for the Gophers. Iowa State grad but Gopher through and through. Still gotta root on my Clones though, and it just means I can hate Iowa twice as much. Hopefully, in a couple weeks the Gophs can redeem my Clones for their showing against Iowa. Now, onto my question, a few people and I are headed down early in the morning to tailgate but the rest of our crew isn't going to get there til around 8:30 or so. My question is, are there any bars close to the stadium that are open around 7am and or that offer gameday specials for early morning games like bloody Marys, Mimosas or 2 for ones or anything like that. or do they all just decide to gouge their prices because it's gameday.
P.S. If you ever have a chance you should get down to an Iowa State tailgate. They are amazing, parking everywhere right next to stadium for super cheap, grass lots, tons of fun.
