Sid: There are rumors that when Bill Snyder retires, Kill will replace him

slur guy in my book, take care bud. do yerself a favor a put me on ignore.

Way, way too fun calling you out, so I probably won't. You'll have to put me on ignore if you have a problem. BTW, the squiggly lines under words are for the grammar/spellcheck function. Just saying.

You two should just give it a break, and just move on like the adults you are. Likely what happened was that PMW had only heard and used the term "Polak" (notice the spelling, this one is okay) via speaking, and either 1. spelled it wrong and didn't know that the misspelling was an accident, 2. Picked up the spelling from someone else and didn't realize it was a slur, or 3. His phone or computer autocorrected it for some reason. Either way, he didn't use it as a slur, he didn't intend it that way, and he used it to describe himself!

Just get over it. Both of you.

I still don't get why people think that KSU would hire Kill whether he was interested or not. Yes he did good things here, but it's not like he dominated. The team had one winning B1G season and battled health issues his entire tenure. That's who you search for to coach? I get KSU isn't tOSU, but I still think they could do better. A guy like Bo Pelini or Claeys or honestly Brewster would be more likely.

As far as Claeys, I could at least see the appeal because of location and that he's a KSU grad. Otherwise I don't see that it would make much sense. The assumption would be that he'd have to do fairly well here to get hired there, but if he's doing well here, what incentive (besides those already mentioned) would he have to start over at KSU? But I'm sure there's always an appeal to go to your Alma Mater and close to home.

I really can't see that KSU would hire Kill just to try to lure Claeys down there. I could see if it was Urban Meyer or Nick Saban or Les Miles or... No offense to Claeys, but I have to believe there are a lot of other candidates that would be considered. I can't imagine just because he's an alumnus that he'd be given the job.

I can't imagine Brewster being a serious contender for a HC. Since he left MN he has been relegated to recruiting specialist guy, pretty much the only job anyone thinks he is good at. He is really good at that, I'd be happy to have him here for that.... but he hasn't been given anything close to an HC job since then.

There are rumors that when Sid retires, the end of days is nigh.
