He said Sid is full of sh1t and is utterly useless.
Correct.
He said Sid is full of sh1t and is utterly useless.
He said Sid is full of sh1t and is utterly useless.
Sid will bring a U-Haul to his funeral.
I'm just going to assume this is as inaccurate as Sid's column a few months ago when he said everything was wrapped up and announced the beginning of construction.
Exactly. Sid has been all over the map with this project. He doesn't know anything.
Here, more than a year ago (March, 2014), Sid says they will break ground in December 2014:

Then, in July 2014, he came back and said it will take more time:

Here, four months ago, Sid says we'll break ground in August of 2015:

Here, just two months ago, Sid says there are no concerns over fundraising:

And, now, today, Sid says there must be concerns since they are no where close to the money sought:

Sid is probably sitting on all the money he hoarded as a paper boy for the Minneapolis Tribune. If he had a philanthropic bone in his body he would donate to this cause and help move the needle instead of making clueless assumptions.
OK. Thanks for the explanation.According to Sid, the paper's conflict of interest rules prevent him from making such a donation as long as he's still working and covering the University and its teams. I believe that he's indicated that he'll make such a gift from his estate (since he'll never retire).
In the end he will be able to say he was correct. At some point.
According to someone at a function last week, thry were told that the new facility will be breaking ground in August come hell or high water. Supposedly they are expecting espn in town and will not be missing the opportunity. Just passing on info
ESPN in town for the TCU game, or what?
