Shooter: Gophers football attendance has decreased for a second straight season, averaging 46,519

And their product is a$$. Don't understand the love for them.
My Dad took my brother and I to Gopher FB on Saturday n the Vikings games on Sunday. I think many Vikings fans have a family connection as to why they became fans. Having a salary cap gives the NFL more parity than many sports. I think the Vikes sell Hope every year.

Actual attendance I assume was below 40,000 on average, but have yet to see the scanned ticket count. In 2023, the scanned average was 38,321, and the sold/distributed average (including free tickets to students for game 1) was 48,452.

They should have added Cal and Stanford then broken the conference into 3 regions 6-7-7 that play each other every year and just put Michigan in the center group making it the best balance for ‘traditional’ powers.
