Selfishly - I had to use this as the title of this thread, as Coach Mason is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for my LLS campaign...well, technically, Kate Mason (the amazing woman behind the man) is hosting, but he agreed to it, and is very excited! If any of you are interested in coming, I've posted the details below, you can also email me at [email protected] with any questions and for the address if you decide to attend. It is a pricier one, $100 (tax deductible) donation per person, which includes your appetizers, wine and beer, as well as being entered to a drawing for a diamond necklace from our very own GopherJay - Jay F Jewelers! It should be a great crowd, but since we're raising money for charity, Coach wants as many people to attend as possible!

Other highlights from this column were Mo Walker at 300 lbs, and the Maturi quote: "I'd like to think that 10 years ago I was the right kind of person for this job, and I think together we did a lot of good things. But I also believe it's time for a change."

Hoo Boy, GL, you have just opened this thread up for lots of fun comments. But I will not say anything. Doc. :)

Call me naive - but I guess I just thought that people would give to a great cause, and not make a joke out of it. God knows I'm working around the clock to raise money for LLS.

Ms. Babu,

BVVL is Brown-Vialetto-Van Laere syndrome - A motor neuron disorder with no cure that leaves children paralyzed then eventually takes their life in a short period of time. A disorder that needs more money for research.
