Shooter: Former Gopher Trent Tucker has two sons, ages 7 and 8, both play hockey

Trent Tucker helped the 1982 Gophers win the Big Ten basketball championship before playing 11 seasons in the NBA. He has two sons, ages seven and eight.

They play hockey in a mites program in Minneapolis.

“I love it — I don’t have to coach now,” Tucker said with a laugh.
