per Amelia:
Shaun Brown will be the Gophers' new strength and conditioning coach
She also had the note that Monter had a few weeks ago that Josh Adel will join Minnesota as the video coordinator.

Here is a bio on Brown:
Shaun Brown, with more than 19 seasons at the professional and collegiate levels, begins his first season as strength and conditioning manager with the USC men's basketball team.
Brown comes to USC from Virginia where he served as the strength and conditioning coach for the basketball team from 2005-2008.
His philosophy on strength training and conditioning is a proven success. He has worked with 19 players who were selected in the NBA draft, including lottery selections Jamal Mashburn, Ron Mercer and Antoine Walker. Brown has worked with eight NBA All-Stars including Kenny Anderson, Chris Bosh, Vince Carter, Jamaal Magloire, Paul Pierce, Jalen Rose, Mashburn and Walker.
"My goal is to implement a comprehensive system specific for basketball," said Brown. "I try to design programs that are sensitive to the demands of the game and the builds of the athletes. I assess each athlete and individualize his program according to that assessment. A program might employ some non-traditional styles of cross training with machines and free weights.
"It is also important for our athletes to understand that their preparation goes beyond weight training and cardiovascular exercise. They need to make the right choices about nutrition and rest in order to maximize their preparation for practices and games."
Prior to working at Virginia, Brown served two years as the head strength coach for the NBA's Toronto Raptors. Prior to joining the Raptors' organziation, he was the head strength coach for the Boston Celtics from 1997-2003.
From 1992-97, Brown was the head strength coach for the men's basketball team at Kentucky. During his time with the Wildcats, the men's team participated in three Final Fours and won the 1996 NCAA Championship.
Brown served as the head strength coach at Providence from 1989 until April of 1992. Before that he was an assistant strength coach at Rutgers.
Brown earned a bachelor's degree from Canisius in 1987 and a master's degree from Ohio State in 1988. He served as a graduate assistant strength coach at Ohio State and as strength and conditioning coach at Dublin HS (Ohio) from August of 1988 to August of 1989.
