I noticed that too. I wonder how many other Gopher QBs would have been that far downfield looking to block.

I do love that Leidner knew his size and was willing to use it. That guy sure could block, now that I look back on it. He couldn’t, however, prevent himself from throwing 4 interceptions in the 4th Quarter to destroy what should have been a win in Madison....that was so painful, and I had to watch it from the seats of Camp Randall....PTSD kicks in just typing it out.

I thought they gave it to him too much in his return last year (not saying that is why he got hurt). My guess is that was never the intent, but he was So. Damn. Good. in that game.

I thought the same thing. He was a one man wrecking crew against Indiana, but I still was hoping we would have used him less.
