Who would Shaka start to give his "Havoc" the best chance to work? I think Dre, Austin, Joe, Wally, Buggs. It wouldn't work against teams with a true center, in which case we would start EE, but I think that lineup would be very effective against some teams.

I like your starting lineup. Whatever happens times they are a changing.

If the Gophers can dictate the tempo of the game, the other team should have to adapt their personnel to the Gophers play not the other way around. If the Gophers are unable to dictate play, then they need to adjust to the opponent's personnel. Each game takes on its own personality. A blanket statement about having to change lineup based on whether or not the opponent has a true big man is erroneous.

I wasn't necessarily saying that we would have to strictly follow that outline, I was just saying against a team with a Zeller-type we would need someone to match up with him, or else it would get very ugly very fast

Does VCU have any good, young players that could transfer here, or could one of his recruits change their mind and come here? I guess this goes for whoever we hire.

Alvin Ellis is supposed to be athletic and a good shooter, gotta think he would get a good chunk of minutes too. Whether he's starting by B1G play I don't know, but I feel like Shaka values shooters a lot more than Tubby did.

The best shot you have is with his fall commits. I think he has 3 but none super high ranked commits (his previous class was much better). He does have a 6'9" kid coming in out of Florida....

Why would we want a coach or players from a team that is absolutely destroyed by Michigan?
