and one year later.....
[at Washington State] Tracy Claeys is signed for the next two seasons and will make $625,000 in base salary in 2018 with a raise to $650,000 in 2019.
So guess his attempt to submarine himself backfired. That amount is less than he made as a HC, but more than he made here as DC.
Coyle is a joke - which he's proving once again today. People can take pot shots at him all day long, anyone with any knowledge in the industry knows what kind of a man he is, and won't have any issue with any person working with Coyle showing HIS integrity by not going along with Coyle's lies of convenience.
One of the great tweets from the sh!t my dad says twitter feed from a few years ago...."Don't kiss their asses when they're sh!tt!ng on you". It's good advice. You should keep it in mind should you, God forbid, working for someone without a moral compass (like Coyle) who is willing to say and do anything to protect his boss (Kaler), who is equally morally inept as Coyle is himself.
But the problems at the top continue, and PJ Fleck is suffering because of it, hence my signature.[/QUOT
Wow! You are one of the few who think that Mark C was not justified in firing TC. With TC at the helm, we would be bitching about their 2 win season. Instead we are going bowling - granted not the bowl we all wanted but for me winning the axe makes up for not playing on Jan.1. P.s. who really gives a rats axx as to how much he is earning at WSU? What ever it is, is to much.
Wow! Not sure how you got that take away, but knock yourself out. If it makes you feel better to think the only reason I'd be pissed as hell that Coyle has no spine, no integrity and no mortality is because of Tracey Claeys, have at it. It might be because his inability to do his job hurts the University of Minnesota and is hurting our current coach. Fleck is a big boy, but we have enough problems without the AD pouring gas on the fire every chance he gets no matter how small or irrelevant the flames are.
And speculation on what would or would not have happened with anyone coaching a year later is as weak-kneed and spineless as Coyle himself.
I'm happy we're going bowling. I'm still concerned that Coyle's failure to do his job and support his coach hurts the University.
As for the rest of your drivel, read the previous posts and you might find out why I mentioned Claeys salary. Just because he was let go, and justifiably so, doesn't mean we should re-write the reality of the situation when he's gone so we can feel better about the piss-poor way our jack wagon of an AD handled himself and the situation.
