Separated at birth...coaching wise. Paul Chrystt and Tim Brewster

They both were ass't coaches

I didn't realize maxing out as a tight ends coach and being the offensive coordinator for conference title winning teams that produced 2 Heisman nominees were equivalent accomplishments. Thanks for setting me straight.

What does Kill have to do with anything? When proven to have a stupid "point", 'tis better to back away from said "point" than to attempt to continue to defend an indefensible point and somehow making yourself look even more stupid in the process.

The stupid point is you poo- pooed 2 star recruits. Again, you are the biggest selective reader on this site. I hope your job isn't as a text editor.

Good point, but I think you have to take in consideration Brewster had experience in the NFL. Chryst interviewed for the job and wasn't hired. Now some will say if Maturi had hired a Wisconsin guy he would have been chastised. You also might be forgetting Brewster's stint with Mac Brown at
Texas. Seems to me he recruited a pretty good QB...tsk...tsk...

So Brew's experience as an NFL TE coach is better preparation for being a HC than being a very successful coordinator is? And to back this you use Joel Maturi's wisdom and insight?

Even for you man, this is weak logic. I'm not a Chryst fan (and won't be surprised if he falls on his face), but to pretend they have equally impressive backgrounds is just silly.
