Senior Memories

From the thread title I was going to put not being able to find a set car keys for over a day a few months ago. They were on a stack of t-shirts that I had folded and put in my closet.

After walking it back, I got a phone call right at the time I was placing them just as I was about to head out the door (in my haste just put them on the t-shirts), so that was the root cause. Still nerve wracking.

Thank you Senior Gophers!

Lindenberg is doing senior day activities? Doesn't he have another year of eligibility?
He does. It could be that he doesn't know if he's coming back or not. Not uncommon. Or I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come back. I doubt his chances at the NFL increase with another year in college.

This group has the chance to see the most Gophers drafted ever since the draft went down to 7 rounds. A lot of potential day 3 type guys. The most is 5 in 2020.

Ersery
Joyner
Jackson
Lindenberg
Brosmer
Walley
Robinson
Carroll

I’ll go with 4 of them (ersery joyner walley and Robinson) are drafted

I think Jackson and Lindenberg will get drafted for sure. There's been some high praise from what I've seen of them both.

I just don’t see it and know we are always inherently biased towards inflating our Gophers chances but hope I’m wrong. Both have been a joy to watch while here

I have seen several mocks having them go in the 4th-6th round range. Who knows though.

Jah Joyner and Ersery have eligibility left too. It's about 100% that Ersery leaves but I'm not sure where I'd put it for Joyner. . . 50/50 maybe.

Walley is one of my favorite Gophers of all time.

In the 2021 Axe game with Minnesota down 10-6 early in the 3rd quarter he intercepted a pass which led to a Gopher's TD. It was truly a gaming changing play.

In the 2022 Axe game with Gophers ahead by 1 touchdown late in the 4th quarter, Wisconsin was making a drive when Walley intercepts Mertz and returns it 28 yards to once again help the Gophers win the Axe.

Hopefully he can do it again this year.

I thought Jah was out of eligibility, but either way he’s 100% gone IMO. I was surprised he came back this year honestly. Edge rushers are so coveted in the NFL and he’s going to make a TON of money.

Awesome video, by the way. Lotta great memories for that group including multiple wins against Wisconsin, the road win at Iowa, and USC/field rush which a bunch of them mentioned.

Kinda crazy for Lindenberg given how much he got fried here early in his career. I dunno if he runs quite well enough but all it takes is one team to fall in love with you in the mid to late rounds
