It's hard to keep track of everyone. So which Gopher seniors are playing in all-star games?

I know Maye and Murray are playing in the Senior Bowl.

Brian Boddy-Calhoun is in the East-West Shrine Game
Devondre Campbell is also at the Shrine Game

Thanks, I think Cockran is playing in a game as well but can't find which one it is.

D. Campbell standing out

from an article about the Shrine game:

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/5-standouts-heading-into-east-west-shrine-game-192258756.html
"De'Vondre Campbell, OLB, Minnesota: If you're looking for a guy who simply looks like he's an NFL player, Campbell is that guy right now. He's long (6-foot-5, 240 pounds) and has a frame that looks like he could get bigger. He has a developed upper body but skinny legs that make him look a little like Randy Gregory, the Dallas Cowboys' 2015 second-round pick.

Like Gregory, he looks very athletic. In a way, he's a love/hate prospect. You can find guys who don't like his lack of production and think he has never lived up to his gifts. But on the flip side, some think he is still raw and can be coached into a more productive player."

For those interested in watching, the Shrine Game is tomorrow (23rd) at 3PM on the NFL Network and the Senior Bowl is next Saturday (30th) at 1:30PM on the NFL Network.

A little surprised Mortell isn't playing in any of these games.

BBC has had a few good plays in today's game. Kinda funny seeing Caputo intercept Stave as they are playing on different teams.

He just cooled on those games....

It's weigh in day at the senior bowl. Maye came in at 5'8 1/3, 184lbs. Murray 5'10 1/2, 198 lbs. Not great news for either of them.

Worse news for Maye than Murray, at 5'10, Murray hits the acceptable range, at 5'8, Maye will be considered short.

This caught me as funny. It isn't news, it is what it is. Did everyone think they were taller?

From Chris Burke @ SI:

"Because he was a late add to the roster, Minnesota's K.J. Maye actually landed on the South squad. He won't be for every team, at 5’8” and 194 pounds, but he does have some jitterbug-style quickness. Maye drew one of the day's biggest crowd reactions when he smoked Maryland S/CB Sean Davis for a deep touchdown."

Edelman, Amendola, Welker can't be much bigger than Maye. I think he a team could really find a use for him.

Soon the NFL will throw away from EM31 like every college team did. Then, every novice fan will say he isn't special because they didn't hear his name mentioned during the game (BB).

I really think Maye will surprise in the NFL. He obviously played for a team that barely threw, and when they did, it often wasn't pretty. But I thought he was great this year. Sharp route runner and great hands. Picking balls off the turf, diving, tough catches in traffic. If he can flash on special teams in camp (both covering and returning kicks) I could see him sticking around the NFL like Sherels. Should be interesting to follow this summer...

Yeah, I see him like a Sherles type player in the NFL.

More good comments about Murray.

Was able to catch part of the practice yesterday. Both Murray and KJ looked good. KJ made a couple nice catches on less than perfect throws. Took a sweep for a nice gain. Caught a screen and ran by and through defenders for a TD.

They also showed Claeys on TV for awhile talking to Art Briles.
