Oh boy, I'm just imagining the all gold unis and the new gold helmets. As dreadful as that would be, part of me actually wants to witness that spectacle once. But just once.
I guess that would be throwing back to the Bierman days when he tried to get the football to blend in with the unis. I really hope we don't go full Big Bird. Please at least wear the maroon pants to break up the color (and provide relief for the eyes). The hockey team gets this right: gold helmet, gold jersey, maroon breezers, gold socks.
I love everything about our uniforms, but sometimes the color choices are head-scratchers. I still think we look like Iowa when we wear all maroon under the lights. The maroon practically fades to black (yuck)
